Description
To support the daily coordination and configuration of all F&B business systems to ensure reliability, availability and the performance meets the business needs and requirements to deliver F&B revenue and growth.
Business Systems Coordinator:
To be responsible for the daily coordination and configuration of all F&B business systems to ensure reliability, availability and the performance meets the business needs and requirements to deliver F&B revenue and growth.Ensure that all F&B cash policies and procedures are efficient, effective, adhered to and also meet the business needs in line with group business systems.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordination of the ASM Global core EPOS system to ensure business continuity is maintained in line with business requirements.
- This is an operational role and are expected to provide support on event days covering all aspects of business systems including POS, cash management, stock management and personnel system support.
- Support in all future technology/ SAS / CAPEX procurement processes.
- Collaboration with F&B technology partners to implement and delivery of a year-on-year roadmap consisting of development, NPD, alpha and beta testing and key notes.
- Delivery and coordination of internal technology stack roadmap with OKRs methodology with both long-term and short-term objectives.
- Configuration and administration of EPOS databases for all ASM Global & CGC venues.
- Configuration and administration of any relevant F&B business systems from Human Force, Kappture, PSP and internal dashboards.
- Continuation and development of all cashless venues with the objective to become industry leaders within this tech stack. Provide guidance on best practices to General Managers and Divisional Directors.
- Post event commercial analysis and reporting to provide insight on agreed KPI metrics.
- Coordination of a blueprint program for training purposes in collaboration with our business systems partners.
- Work with project teams to ensure system requirements meet business needs and support project implementation and rollout.
- Support initiatives/technology projects relating to ASM Global.
- Commercial awareness implementation, discover how to articulate data from our EPOS solution in all commercial decision-making processes to drive revenue growth across all venues.
- Coordination and implementation of stock management across all venues.
- On site operational duties will be required to support our EPOS and merchant service delivery.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 4 or above
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good A levels (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Sciences or Economics.
- Highly organised with the ability to work independently at a fast pace whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Experience and confidence using Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Exce
- Desirable- Good system skills in EPOS technology, merchant management, E-Commerce and SAS implementation and procurement technologies.
- Desirable -Experience in stock and commercial management systems
Training to be provided
You will undertake the ground breaking Apprentify Data Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship.
We have designed our programme to offer you a distinct route into your career path and specialise in areas such as Data Architecture, collecting and cleansing data, produce performance dashboards and reports .
During the 15 months of training, you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across 11 carefully structured Modules covering the duties that are required as a Data Analyst:
- Identify data sources to meet the organisation's requirement, using evidence-based decision making to establish a rationale for inclusion and exclusion of various data sets and models
- Liaise with the client and/or colleagues from other areas of the organisation to establish reporting needs and deliver accurate information
- Collect, compile and, if needed, cleanse data, such as sales figures, Digital Twins etc. solving any problems that arise, to/from a range of internal and external systems.
- Produce performance dashboards and reports in the Visualisation and Model Building Phase
- Support the business by maintaining and developing reports for analysis to aid with decisions, and adhering to organisational policy/legislation
- Produce a range of standard and nonstandard statistical and data analysis reports in the Model Building phase
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
- Draw conclusions/Recommend appropriate response/Offer Guidance/Interpretation
- Summarise and present the results of data analysis to a range of stakeholders, making recommendations
- Provide regular reports & analysis to different management/leadership teams, ensuring data is used and represented ethically in line with relevant legislation (e.g. GDPR, which incorporates Privacy by Design).
- Ensure data is appropriately stored and archived, in line with relevant legislation e.g. GDPR
- Practice continuous self-learning to keep up to date with technological developments to enhance relevant skills and take responsibility for own professional development
Things to consider
Some evening and weekend work will be required particularly across the summer months.
