Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their career in plumbing while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning the trade.

Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
Learn to plumb various systems including water supply, drainage, and heating.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
Support senior plumbers in diagnosing plumbing issues and implementing solutions.
Participate in the assembly of plumbing components and systems.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on-site.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn the plumbing trade.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during installations.
A valid commercial driving licence is a plus but not essential.
Previous experience as a carpenter or in a related field is beneficial.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills, including welding techniques if applicable.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment.
