BBV 2025 Apprenticeship Programme – Register your interest – Quantity Surveying
What you’ll be doing :
As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor your job is to ensure everything that is needed is accounted for and costs are controlled. You’ll manage project costs, contracts, and financial planning. You’ll learn cost estimation, contract management, and financial analysis. As well as supporting the effective engagement and management of our supply chain.
There will be a wide range of duties including:
- Gathering data and undertaking research on current construction costs under supervision
- Measure, record and value work supervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures
- Record progress on site and help prepare and maintain records
- Collation of cost and value information
- Collecting information required to specify procurement requirements
- Complete measurement of works and provide information on subcontractors performance
This programme combines academic study with full time work, offering you the opportunity to develop both professionally and academically.
Who we're looking for:
For Level 4 apprenticeship, you’ll need a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 9-4/A-C including Maths, English and Science.
For Level 6 degree apprenticeship, you’ll need 3 A Levels or equivalent at passing grades.
