At Croydon Council , we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our community. We are looking for two motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Procurement Apprentices to join our dynamic procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in procurement while making a positive impact in your local area.

To be eligible for this Apprenticeship you will need Maths & English GCSE passes.

This is a 18 month contract based on the length of the level 3 course.

What You’ll Do

Support Procurement Activities: Assist in the procurement process, including tendering, evaluation and contract award activities.
Help realise our transformation ambitions: Get involved in diverse improvement tasks that will help move procurement onto a more strategic footing as well as building our contract management skills across the council.
Contribute to our Performance and Development activities: Support development and embedding of local and national policies & legislation; supporting successful operation of our purchase to pay process; and production & analysis of procurement management information.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and contribute to effective solutions.
Maintain Records: Help manage procurement documentation and ensure compliance with council policies and regulations.
Engage with Suppliers: Build relationships with suppliers and assist in evaluating their performance.
