Job Summary:
As a Driver Helper (Apprentice), you will support delivery drivers with the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in logistics and distribution while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods.
- Help verify delivery documentation and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling products.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of delivery vehicles.
- Learn proper driving and delivery procedures as part of your apprenticeship training.
- Report any issues or delays promptly to the driver or supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and represent the brand professionally.
Requirements:
- A strong interest in logistics, delivery, or supply chain operations.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
