Join Legendre UK, a main contractor based in London as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to develop the skills and knowledge you need to have for a successful career in construction.
Your main tasks:
- Assist in managing costs and budgets for construction projects.
- Help prepare cost estimates, tender and procurement documents.
- Manage sub-contractors’ packages.
- Track expenses and monitor progress to ensure financial targets are met.
- Liaise and collaborate with Production & Design regarding all contractual aspects.
- Learn and assist about contract management and the financial aspects of the construction process.
- Support Quantity Surveying team and participate to meetings to build up experience and knowledge.
Profil
Your profile:
You have a keen interest in the construction industry with a willingness to learn.
Your assets?
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
You will study the level 6 Quantity Surveying Degree at the University of Greenwich. Your future working environment:
You will be based on one of our construction site in London but you will also spend your time at the Head Office, near Chancery Lane tube station.
