Do you have a passion for landscaping and horticulture? Are you looking to build a career in a hands-on, outdoor environment?
We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity available, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality grounds maintenance for one of our prestigious social housing partners.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lawn cutting and hedge pruning using petrol-powered tools
- Weeding and maintaining plant beds and borders
- Shrub pruning and general upkeep
- Litter picking and sweeping of outdoor spaces
- Working in a team to deliver excellent outdoor maintenance services
- Ongoing training and support throughout the apprenticeship
From September 2025, you will attend college 1 day per week to study toward your Level 2 Horticulture qualification – perfect if you’re just starting out in the industry.
Training & Support Provided:
- Risk assessments and safe working practices
- Proper use and maintenance of machinery
- PPE and health & safety training
- On-the-job mentoring by experienced colleagues
What We're Looking For:
- Hard-working and self-motivated individuals
- Reliable and willing to work in all weather conditions
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- IT literate (comfortable using smartphones or tablets)
- A strong customer-focused approach
- A full UK manual driving licence is desirable, but not essential
- Must be prepared to complete a DBS check (covered by us)
