This role will consist of various administrative functions on a daily basis, with a focus on written english, a curious outlook, and drive to impress. Alongside this, this opportunity offers a full qualification as a data technician, to support with the wider data driven elements of the job role.
We’re looking for an Assistant to work within the LeGo Team. We don’t expect you to have any prior knowledge of this function as full training will be given.
The LeGo Team work across the whole of Octopus, supporting all business units. This role will therefore be incredibly varied, at times, challenging but very interesting. We are looking for someone that understands the sort of company Octopus is, and what it continues to want to be as an organisation, someone whose values are aligned to ours and someone that wants to grow and progress in the team. This is an amazing growth opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the team inbox
- Answering emails
- Setting up meetings and managing diaries
- Speaking to people from across the business
- Writing guidance & processes documents and uploading to the internal system
- Sending out documents
- Updating basic spreadsheets
Entry requirements
A minimum of grade 4/C in both Maths and English at GCSE level.
A strong level of written english is essential, due to support the wider compliance and admin functions in the business.
Training to be provided
Our Data Apprenticeships, Data Technician Level 3 and Data Analyst Level 4 will give you and the apprentice the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to work effectively in roles such as: Data Analyst, Data Manager, Data Scientist, Data Modeller, Data Architect and Data Engineer.
These digital Data Apprenticeships enable you to drive organisational innovation and optimise resources through developing knowledge and understanding of data and its potential.

This apprenticeship is the perfect introduction to a career in data analysis. Job roles include Junior Information Analyst, Database Technician, Data Support Analyst and Junior Data Analyst. Data Technicians are responsible for collecting and processing data under the guidance of a senior colleague or multiple colleagues across the business.
