Your role
As an apprentice , you will play a key role in supporting our legal team. Your contributions will include:
- Assisting with Case Management: Organize and manage case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Conducting Legal Research: Research case law and statutes to support solicitors in preparing for cases.
- Drafting Documents: Draft correspondence and legal documents under the guidance of experienced solicitors.
- Client Interaction: Assist in communicating with clients and preparing for meetings.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Participating in Team Meetings: Contribute fresh perspectives and actively participate in discussions.
- Continuous Learning: Seek opportunities for learning and professional development.
- Your proactive attitude and enthusiasm will be essential to our success.
Desired skills
- Due to the Apprenticeship criteria candidates with LLB would not be eligible for this position
- Local viable commute essential
- 4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner

Training to be provided
- You will complete the Paralegal Apprenticeship
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
