Responsibilities
The Business Administration Apprentice will support the Office Coordinator / Employment PA in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of CG’s Chorley office. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must possess a ‘can do’ attitude and will be proactive, reliable, and capable of multitasking in what can sometimes be a fast-paced environment. As our new Business Administration Apprentice, you will be guided by seasoned professionals, gaining access to a wealth of knowledge and developing exceptional skills that will pave the way for a successful career in office support and beyond.
Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- assisting with general office duties such as photocopying, printing and scanning documents;
- handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, ensuring that post log is kept up to date;
- answering and directing phone calls, taking messages as needed;
- maintaining office supplies and ensure the office is tidy and well-organised;
- assisting with client onboarding and billing;
- assisting in arranging facilities for internal and external meetings and help in the preparation of materials for those meetings, if necessary;
- greet and assist visitors as and when called upon, ensuring they feel welcome;
- be an additional point of contact for the Chorley office to ensure the smooth running of office operations;
- assist in organising office events and activities;
- organising and maintaining general office documents, files and records;
- assisting in the preparation and distribution of documents and reports; and
- ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths equivalent to a grade C or above
Desired Skills
- Intermediate ability in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55 per hour
