About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A recognised level 2 qualification in Business Administration
- A recognised level 2 in English and Maths
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to plan and organise own work
- Experience of providing administrative support in a complex business structure.
- Undertake a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship programme.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication and organisational skills and desire to add value to a busy operational team through the delivery of outstanding administrative support services. You will be able to create great rapport, helping not only to support our team members, but also to engage with internal and external stakeholders. You must be confident in the use of Microsoft Office and an ability to learn how to use cloud-based platforms and AI tools.
You will also be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills, and be able to work effectively in a remote home-based role.
About the Role
The Operations Business Administrator adds value and plays a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of apprenticeship programmes by providing comprehensive operational administrative support.
In this Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship position, you will be supporting a diverse sector based operational apprenticeship delivery team to meet organisational and contractual targets whilst delivering excellent customer service.
The role involves working closely with learners, employers, and external bodies, ensuring accurate information handling, maintaining records and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
As part of this role, you will:
- Manage and maintain accurate records across internal and external systems.
- Provide varied administrative support functions across the Skills operational team.
- Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes and administrative systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, employers, learners, and external partners to support the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programmes.
- Source, book, and monitor learner attendance on external courses.

All staff have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
