As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

- Car technicians will be expected to see whether components and systems are secure and working properly

Your training plan
The Apprenticeship Programme is delivered via Block Training Release at the state-of-the-art academy in Winsford, as well as 1-1 tutor support in the dealership. Every 6-8 weeks apprentices will attend the MAN Academy for block training release.
Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 (light vehicle) Qualification:
- Servicing - working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure the vehicle running at optimum performance
- Maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail
- Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem
- Functional skills in maths and English (if required)

GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
