Reporting to: Aftersales & Service Manager
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
Salary: £7.55 per hour (subject to increase with service length)

Job Overview
As an Apprentice Customer Service Administrator across our Sales and Aftersales departments, you will play a vital role in supporting teams to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service administration while receiving comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced professionals in the industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries via phone, email and in person, addressing customer concerns and providing information on products and services.
- Data Management: Maintain and update customer databases and sales records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity at all times.
- Sales Support: Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing sales reports, coordinating meetings, and organising travel arrangements.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing sales contracts, quotations, and other sales-related documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Participate actively in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of sales processes, products, and industry trends.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across departments throughout the company to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales activities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, particularly regarding data protection and confidentiality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the sales department.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivated, confident, friendly and engaging personality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently when necessary.
- Interest in the automotive industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 5 or above) Essential

Apprenticeship Details (Customer Service Specialist - Level 3)
This Customer Service Administrator Apprenticeship at Paneltex will offer you a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while working alongside industry experts. The Customer Service Specialist Level 3 programme will typically run for 15 months and will provide you with valuable on-the-job training, supplemented by theoretical learning to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be supported by a dedicated mentor who will guide you in your professional development and assist you in achieving your career goals.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role within Paneltex, subject to business requirements and your performance during the programme.
