The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration or Level 2/3 Customer Service Apprenticeship with the appointed provider, HBTC (www.hbtc.co.uk). An Apprenticeship allows you to acquire valuable skills and experience in your chosen sector, which improves your CV and employability when you've finished training. You'll learn in the work environment, developing the practical skills and understanding you need to excel in your role. This opportunity could also lead to permanent employment and progression opportunities.

Due to our increasing UK customer base, Zematra UK, a leader in supply, installation, service and repair of Laboratory Analytical Equipment to the Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industries, we require a self-motivated individual to join our expanding team. This is a new role and the appointed person will help define the administrative processes.

General office and administration duties

Compiling sales orders and invoices

Managing engineers’ equipment calibration spreadsheets

Organising calendars (Holidays, meetings etc.)

Arranging training and managing training schedules

Assisting with stock control / inventory management system

Liaising with customers regarding orders and service

Dealing with customers over the phone and email, handling queries

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 12-18 months

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
