The apprenticeship covers a wide range of knowledge, skills, and behaviors including health and safety, the use of appropriate tools, equipment and techniques to weld pipe and tubes, whilst considering welding parameters on the integrity of the finished material properties, characteristics and risk of defects.

About the company

Part of the Interpump Fluid Solutions Group Alltube Engineering Limited was first established in 1986 in Daventry specialising in the manufacturing of tube and pipe manipulators/fabricators throughout the UK. Onsite we manufacture Hydraulic Hose assemblies, pneumatic assemblies and supply Hydraulic fittings and Hydraulic adaptors. Operating across a variety of industries to include agriculture, construction, handling, transport, (buses, trucks and rail) and general industrial. Our projects sizes vary from small one-off bespoke requests through to supplying major International equipment manufacturers.

Training Details

1 day per week at Booth Lane campus for up to 24 months

Main Tasks

Work as part of a team to produce orders on time.
Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
Prepare / process materials prior to assembly.
Check products for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards.
To check welding plant / equipment prior to and after use highlighting any faults/ defects to the Fabrication Shop Supervisor.
Reinstate the work area following engineering activities.

Working Hours

07.00-17.00 MON to THURS if over 18.

Hours to be adjusted if under 18.

Location - Daventry NN11 8PJ
