Job Overview
As an apprentice you will receive extensive on the job training, gaining practical experience and developing the necessary skills to excel in the steel and metal engineering field. You will work closely with experienced staff on a variety of projects, processes and machinery. The objective is to become a multiskilled member of the engineering team.

Responsibilities

Working with a variety of materials including mild steel, aluminium, copper, bronze and stainless steel, Zintec.
Learning how to program engineering projects using Amada CAD/CAM software for programming Laser machines
Machine and equipment operation
Health, safety and compliance

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: £7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
