We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as a Legal Cashier Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal environment, working alongside experienced colleagues who are passionate about what they do.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Legal Cashier Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. You’ll be part of a local team in Northampton and a wider firm-wide finance department, supporting our Legal Advisers and other business functions.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Producing accurate bills and invoices
- Handling transfers and responding to accounting queries
- Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Supporting colleagues across different sites when needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Eager to learn and grow in a legal finance setting
- A strong communicator with a keen eye for detail
- Flexible, proactive, and able to manage their workload under pressure
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a finance or legal environment is a bonus, but not essential — we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
