The Business Administrator Apprentice will provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. You will develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to excel in a business administration role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team with a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, record keeping, and filing.
- Prepare, format, and distribute documents, presentations, and reports.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and appointments.
- Assist with project administration and tracking progress against deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and GDPR requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, and stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Undertake research and compile information to assist decision-making.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Essential:
- Keen to develop a career in business administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Previous customer service or administrative experience (paid or voluntary).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
