We are currently seeking a Childcare Apprentice to join our friendly and busy nursery team. This is a full-time role where you'll gain hands-on experience while working towards your childcare qualification. For the right candidate, this apprenticeship may lead to a permanent position.
We’re looking for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with both parents and colleagues, and truly enjoys working with children. You should have a warm, approachable personality and be dependable, trustworthy, and committed to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support and engage in planned activities under the guidance of senior staff.
· Help provide fun and stimulating experiences that encourage children’s development.
· Ensure children’s hygiene and cleanliness are maintained according to set procedures.
· Follow nursery cleaning and hygiene standards rigorously.
· Assist in creating a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for children.
· Maintain accurate daily records of children’s progress and development.
· Participate in weekly rota duties and team planning meetings.
· Stay on top of your coursework and responsibilities with your training provider.
Qualifications: You’ll be working towards a Level 3 Childcare qualification. While no prior qualifications are required, some experience in and a genuine interest in caring for children are essential.
