About the role:
Sharpe Pritchard are looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to join their growing and thriving firm, providing the opportunity to work with supportive and friendly colleagues. This will provide you with the opportunity to gain training and experience in how a law firm operates, providing experience in front-of-house and general admin support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with Front of House Assistants to provide a seamless Front of House experience, to include covering lunch, holiday and sickness.
- Meeting and greeting clients in the reception area.
- Assisting with meeting room bookings and ordering catering.
- Assisting with meeting room set up to include moving tables and chairs as and when required and clearing down the same following the meeting.
- Daily routine office checks to ensure paper supplies are stocked, stationery is fully stocked and kitchen catering is fully stocked.
- Filing, photocopying and scanning.
- Archiving and retrieving case files to include lifting boxes with case files, as and when required.
- Completing file closures on our case management system.
- Mail sorting and delivery as and when required.
- Data entry and database ongoing updates.
- Outdoor clerking/delivery of files to barrister chambers.
- Assisting all departments with general administrative tasks, gaining knowledge and experience across all business units.
- Reconciliation of petty cash as and when required.
- Assisting with general IT issues.
- Assisting the Head of Business Operations to organise events periodically.
- Ability to work in Excel and Word to enter data for carbon reporting, social value reporting and other ad-hoc data entry tasks
- Any additional ad-hoc duties to assist the smooth running of the business
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
