Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in the workshop with a range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance services as per manufacturer requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding vehicle issues and repair progress.
The ideal candidate will:
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a passion for learning and developing technical skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant coursework after leaving school is preferable.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from senior technicians.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ideally qualified in Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance
