Based: Urmston, Manchester
Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Finance apprentice to join our team based in Urmston.
The Finance Apprentice will be responsible for the day-to-day recording of financial transactions. Their core responsibilities include posting bank transactions and handling the majority of purchase ledger tasks. They ensure the integrity of the general ledger through accurate data entry and support the month-end close process across the group.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing & Data Entry:
Purchase Ledger Support:
Process supplier invoices
Assist in scheduling and processing payment runs
Set up new supplier accounts
Reconcile supplier statements
Maintain supporting documentation for all purchase ledger transactions
Apprenticeship:
We will support you through your studies for the AAT qualification with First Intuition. First Intuition offer in centre classroom courses and virtual classroom courses. You will attend their study courses via block delivery, for multiple days at a time.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship:
Support for the right candidate with further professional studies (ACCA/CIMA) with career progression through to becoming a management accountant.
