Are you practical, hands-on, and looking for a long-term career where you can learn real skills? Solihull Windows is looking for a Fenestration Apprentice (Double Glazing Window Fitter) to join our friendly, experienced team.
We’re a local, employee-owned company specialising in the installation of high-quality windows, doors, and glazing products. Based in Shirley and working across Solihull and Birmingham, we pride ourselves on fantastic service, great craftsmanship, and a team that supports each other.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting our experienced fitters with the installation of windows and doors
- Learning how to measure, prepare, and install frames and glass safely and accurately
- Understanding customer service and what makes for a top-quality installation
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Travelling to customer homes as part of our installation teams
- Attending in-office training as required as part of your apprenticeship
What You'll Learn:
- All aspects of window and door installation (domestic)
- Use of hand and power tools
- Safe handling of glass and frames
- Customer interaction and site professionalism
- How to read drawings and measure accurately
What We’re Looking For:
- A keen interest in practical, hands-on work
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A respectful and polite manner with customers
- Reliability and excellent timekeeping
- Aged 16+ and eligible to undertake an apprenticeship
Training & Support:
This is a fully supported apprenticeship role. You’ll receive:
- A nationally recognised qualification in Fenestration Installation
- On-the-job training with skilled professionals
- In-office learning via an accredited training provider
- A permanent role with progression opportunities upon completion
