About the role
We now have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join our friendly Electrical team in Nottingham and will be covering the Central Region. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in the electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs. Day-to-day tasks include working with our qualified electricians to learn and perform electrical work as well as adhering to our Health and Safety procedures.
The successful candidate will be required to attend college 1 day during the working week.
Teamwork is an essential part of this role, and there’s an expectation that our colleagues share best practice and provide support to each other in order to meet the common goals of the team. You’ll also actively seek out new ways to add value and take our performance to the next level.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with a willingness to learn and have a strong interest in electrical maintenance and testing and can perform with a can-do attitude.
Essential
- English & Maths GCSE’s or equivalent
Desired
- Ideally, you will have secured an electrical apprenticeship with a local college.
- Have basic knowledge of Electrical works

The successful candidate will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks before we can agree on a starting date:
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Providing proof of relevant professional qualifications.
- A completed Criminal Charges and Convictions Self-Disclosure Form
- A completed Health Questionnaire
- Two references covering the last 3 years of employment / training / education, which are satisfactory to Evolve
