An exciting opportunity with Foran and Blake Hair in Chorley for anyone who is looking to start their level 2 Hairdressing apprenticeship.
Please note: There are direct bus routes from Blackburn to Chorley.
You will study the Level 2 Hairdressing Apprenticeship at Blackburn College one day a week.
All applicants must complete an initial assessment for Blackburn College before an interview will take place with the employer. Once successful the candidate will work with the employer 4 days a week, and attend Blackburn College for 1 day a week for training. This is an Apprenticeship which will last for a minimum of 26 months to be completed.
The salon are looking for a new apprentice to join the team for September.
As an Apprentice you will receive training in all aspects of Hairdressing and will assist the stylists in the day to day running of the salon.
Vacancy Description
The apprentice will be expected to:
- Meet and greet clients
- Assisting stylists
- Reception duties
- Cleaning duties
- Training
The stylists will expect you to work closely alongside them observing assisting with colouring, shampooing and blow-drying.
- Providing outstanding customer service to clients in the salon
- Performing reception duties
- Shampoo and conditioning client’s hair
- Shadowing the senior stylist
- Maintaining salon health and safety – including maintaining and cleaning the salon
- Performing hair colouring to clients
