We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor’s Apprentice to join our Clinical Negligence New Enquiry Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin their legal career, gain hands-on experience in clinical negligence matters, and progress toward qualification as a solicitor in due course.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the New Enquiry Team in processing incoming medical negligence enquiries and cases.
- Support case preparation by gathering information, reviewing documents, and liaising with clients.
- Draft basic correspondence and documents under supervision, including letters to clients, healthcare providers, and expert witnesses.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with professional and procedural standards.
- Communicate with clients sensitively and professionally, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
- Collaborate with solicitors and other team members to ensure efficient case handling.
- Take part in training and development opportunities aimed at progressing toward qualification.
Requirements and Attributes:
- Strong interest in a career in clinical negligence law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients, many of whom may be vulnerable or distressed.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop legal skills.
- Prior administrative or legal work experience is desirable but not essential.
