Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, target-driven, and people-oriented Apprenticeship Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for business development, client engagement, and candidate vetting, with a passion for helping individuals start or progress their careers through apprenticeships.
This is a key role that blends sales, relationship management, and recruitment. You’ll be instrumental in generating new employer leads, selling apprenticeship solutions, and placing registered candidates into suitable roles — with a focus on schools and nurseries.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify and engage with potential employers to promote apprenticeship programmes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with businesses, predominantly within the education sector (schools and nurseries)
- Confidently pitch and sell apprenticeship solutions to key decision-makers
- Generate high-quality leads and placement opportunities for our candidate pool
- Hit individual and team KPIs related to placements, lead generation, and employer engagement
Candidate Management & Vetting
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure suitability for apprenticeship roles
- Match candidates to the right opportunities based on career goals, interests, and qualifications
- Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for all applicants
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with employer partners
- Act as the main point of contact for both candidates and employers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
- Ensure ongoing employer satisfaction and explore opportunities for repeat business
Administration & CRM
- Maintain accurate records of all client and candidate interactions on internal databases
- Use CRM systems to track leads, conversions, and manage recruitment pipelines
- Prepare weekly reports on KPI performance and candidate progress
Requirements & Skills✅ Essential:
- Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or business development (ideally in apprenticeships or education)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities
- Confident in cold calling and developing new business relationships
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
✅ Desirable:
- Knowledge of apprenticeships and the education/early years sector
- Experience working with CRMs and/or candidate tracking systems
- Understanding of safeguarding and compliance processes in recruitment

Location & Office Attendance
This is a mainly remote role, giving you flexibility and autonomy in your work. However, we do occasionally require attendance at our office for:
