As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while also contributing to the overall management of the store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Assist in store management tasks, ensuring the salon operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
- Handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in braiding and sew-in
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in front desk operations is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced staff members effectively.
- Knowledge of eyelash extension application and makeup techniques is desirable.
- Strong upselling abilities to promote salon products and services effectively.
