What You’ll Do
- Join in the fun by helping to plan and lead exciting activities that spark curiosity and a love for learning.
- Support children as they play, learn, and make new friends in a safe, inspiring nursery environment.
- Build fantastic relationships with children, families, and your teammates, making everyone feel welcome and valued.
- Keep an eye on children’s progress and well-being, sharing observations with your mentor and the team.
- Pitch in with routines like mealtimes, outdoor play, creative crafts, and story sessions.
- Learn best practices in childcare, including health, safety, and safeguarding—all while having fun!
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote learning and development in children.
- Support the lead educators in managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for all children.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of early childhood education practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all resources are well-managed.
