Job Overview:

At Alpha & Omega Walk-In Clinic & Pharmacy we are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy staff in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Duties:

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing

- Maintain inventory and order medications and supplies as needed

- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns

- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing patient records

- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Experience:

- Previous experience of working in a pharmacy is not necessary, as full training will be provided

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
