Sureserve Compliance Fire is seeking motivated and reliable individual to join our team as Electrical Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides a structured pathway into a career within electrical installation and fire safety, offering hands‑on experience from day one alongside experienced engineers.
As part of the Sureserve Group, apprentices benefit from the support of the Sureserve Academy, our dedicated learning and development function. The Academy provides structured technical training, ongoing development, and access to a wider apprentice network, including external learning communities and resources. This ensures you receive comprehensive support as you work towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
Many of our apprentice’s progress into fully qualified roles within the business, building long‑term careers in a growing and respected organisation.
Role Overview
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of qualified electricians, developing the technical knowledge and practical skills required to support the installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical and life safety systems. You will be part of a fast‑paced, supportive team within a business recognised as a leader in its field.
Key Responsibilities
With structured training and day‑to‑day guidance, you will:
Learn how to identify, test and support the maintenance of electrical and life safety systems
Assist qualified electricians with installation, inspection and testing
Follow health, safety and compliance procedures to maintain safe working environments
Attend training sessions and complete all required apprenticeship coursework
Develop strong working habits, attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work
Skills and Experience
No prior experience is required. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
A genuine interest in electrical installation and fire safety
Willingness to learn, take instruction and embrace new challenges
A positive, reliable attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic technical awareness or a hands‑on interest (desirable but not essential)
Entry requirements: Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths
