Role profile:
We are looking for a Production Assistant Apprentice to help deliver our growing slate of projects. Projects vary in scale from short social promos, animations/videos to longer narrative content, TV Adverts, Drone work and more
We are looking for an production assistant apprentice that shows a passion and hunger to learn and start their career in the video sector. You will get an opportunity to work across all areas of the video content production process. Learning and developing all the way. Ark are committed to developing young talent and for the right individual there is a permanent full time role.
Key activities:
- Working with the production team organizing logistics for shoots.
- Liaising with crew, suppliers, locations, clients, talent and more to help with the production of a shoot.
- Ensuring paperwork for shoots is completed including callsheets, health and safety documentation, schedules etc.
- Working on shoots and ensuring crew, cast and stakeholders are organized and working safely.
- Assisting with camera work on shoot
- Assist with Editing content in line with client briefs. Assembling narratives and structuring stories from interviews, voice over audio, scripts and other sources.
- Sourcing and selecting clips and b-roll to ensure the highest production value content
- Optimise all video and multimedia output to be appropriate for desired delivery platform
- Ensure digital output complies with client brand guidelines
- Work as part of a team to contribute to creative ideas and concepts
- Help Manage relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
- Liaise with clients to develop and scale briefs in line with their budgets. Contribute to ideation sessions and get them excited about our proposals. Work up proof-of-concepts and pitches.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by your line manager
We are looking for applicants with:
- A showreel of creative video work – This can be personal projects, College or professional work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead on your own with initiative
- A creative and analytical thinker
- You need to show us your passion for video and film.
The role is based in our office in Sutton Coldfield – You need to be able to get to the office everyday.
Entry requirements
You need to provide examples of videos, content or creative media you have created. This could be college or school work, personal projects. But you need to show your passion for content creation.
If you are 16-18 - you need to provide Maths and English Grades of C/4 or above.
Training to be provided
You will be completing a Production Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance.
You will have training on the job and off the job with the award winning, creative specilaised provider Creative Alliance.
