About the role:
As an Operation Business Administrator you will be responsible for providing essential support to the Zayo Europe Operations Teams in terms of performing daily administrative duties, managing budgets, forecasts & contractor finances and compiling performance reports.
The Operations team is responsible for:
- Designing, constructing and maintaining Zayo’s infrastructure including the installation of fibre optic cables and transmission equipment which provides Telecommunication services to customers across Europe.
- Project managing and delivering Telecoms services to customers in a timely manner.
- Supporting other departments within Zayo Europe including Sales, Business Development and Finance to help achieve targets as a business for revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation of purchase orders and management of contractor and supplier payments to maintain a smooth finance process within Operations.
- Create reports within Zayo’s Oracle finance system to capture spend against budgets for all aspects of spend within Operations.
- Schedule and attend regular contractor meetings to assist with providing invoicing and payment updates.
- Work closely with Zayo finance teams to manage 3rd party invoice payments.
- Assist Operations teams in developing and maintaining reports on contractor workloads and deliverables.
- Regular communication with Operations teams in different Zayo regions (i.e. UK, France, Ireland, Netherlands & Germany to provide support with General Administrative duties).
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
Skills:
- General understanding of the Telecoms Industry would be preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Computer literate - Word, Excel, Google documents, Google Drives.
- Must be proactive, and self-motivated but also a team player
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Must be able to prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment and manage demands on time.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
