Joining our Professional Services department at CDL, you’ll embark on a BSc (Hons) Project Management degree at QA, one of the UK’s leading tech talent and training organisations, in partnership with Northumbria University

In a nutshell we are the market leading software house in our industry, creating the software, websites & apps for the Insurance & Finance sector across the UK. If you were to go on a price comparison website, approximately 65% of the companies on there are our clients!
Delivery: One study day per week (virtually), four days hybrid working, between home and our CDL Stockport campus (2 days in the office mandatory).

Salary: Starting at £20,000 per annum and we’ll pay your student fees
Key Responsibilities
During the four-year apprenticeship you will work on projects for some of the UK’s best-known brands with leading-edge technology. You will develop expertise in all aspects of the project management lifecycle - initiation, planning execution and closure - drawing on the latest theory and industry principals.
At the same time, you will have a fantastic opportunity to work on the delivery of innovative software products that are at the forefront of technology in the retail insurance sector.
You will work alongside colleagues at every stage of the project management journey, from Junior Project Managers to Programme Managers with 10 years’ and above experience to their name. The modules taught on the degree will complement work-based projects, where you will use real life business challenges and scenarios from your new role in CDL as part of your degree.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
We’re looking for forward-thinking, inquisitive people who:
- have at least 3 A-levels (or BTEC equivalent) at C or above.
- have achieved GCSEs in Maths and English Language at grade A*-C (or equivalent) – alternatively, you can complete Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications alongside your apprenticeship)
- have a passion for project management
- are flexible and organised, with great time management skills
- good communication skills -written, verbal, face to face and remote working.
- an enthusiastic, 'can-do' attitude to overcoming issues and challenges.
- think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- enjoy collaborating with others to deliver projects

The salary for the role of Project Management Degree Apprentice pays up to £20,000p.a.
