Early Years Apprentice – Join Our Passionate Team at Osbaldwick Montessori
Are you starting your journey in early years education and eager to learn in a calm, supportive setting? Osbaldwick Montessori in York is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our small and passionate team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to train and gain hands-on experience in a setting inspired by the Montessori approach – where children are respected, encouraged to be independent, and nurtured through calm, child-led learning.
As an Apprentice, you will:
- Work alongside experienced educators supporting children aged 18 months–5 years
- Help create a warm, engaging environment that follows each child’s interests
- Learn about Montessori principles and how to apply them in practice
- Develop your knowledge while working towards your Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team
- Kind, calm, reliable and a great communicator
- No experience needed – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn!
- Apprentice wage (in line with national rates)
- On-the-job training and mentorship
- Funded qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
- Supportive team and peaceful, well-resourced environmen
