About the Programme
We’re offering a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in commercial on-site paint spraying with one of the UK’s leading commercial paint spraying specialists.
The Cladcoat Training & Development Programme is a hands-on, one-year apprenticeship designed to train the next generation of spray professionals for commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
You’ll receive full training in:
- On-site surface preparation and masking
- Spraying techniques for cladding, shopfronts, and commercial units
- Safe and efficient use of spray equipment and materials
- Surface restoration and finishing standards
- Working to project deadlines in live commercial environments
Upon successful completion of the 12-month programme, you’ll be offered a full-time role with a competitive salary, bonuses, and long-term career progression within Cladcoat Solutions.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s hardworking, motivated, and ready to learn a specialist trade with real career potential.
You must:
- Be reliable, punctual, and take pride in your work
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Be comfortable working outdoors and at height (training provided)
- Hold a full UK driving licence (or be working towards one)
- Be flexible to travel and work on sites nationwide
- Work well in a team and follow instructions carefully
Performance Criteria (to progress to full-time employment):
During the year, apprentices will be assessed on:
- Attendance & Punctuality: Minimum 95% attendance rate.
- Skill Development: Demonstrated competence in all core spraying tasks by month 10.
- Health & Safety: 100% compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Teamwork & Attitude: Positive conduct and professionalism at all times.
- Quality Control: Consistently achieving clean, high-quality finishes as assessed by mentors.
