Job Role
We are looking for an apprentice accountant who can work alongside our existing team to help provide our client's with a personal and friendly service.
The role provides an apprenticeship training contract where you will receive on the job training alongside enrolment into a course programme to study for the ACA qualification.
The main duties for your day to day role would consist of:
- Preparing accounts for corporate and non-corporate businesses
- Preparing personal, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Bookkeeping
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Making Tax Digital submissions
- Assisting senior staff on other projects
- General office administration

Experience, Skills and Qualifications required:
- AAT level 4 Qualification (Candidates already working towards their AAT Qualification would also be considered)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Keen attention to detail
- Desire to train to become a chartered accountant
- Previous experience in an accountancy firm would be beneficial
