About the Role
As a Finance Apprentice, youll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the CCDCs finance team. You will assist with financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure financial compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience, and receive industry-recognised training.
What Youll Be Doing
- Maintaining and reconciling the accounting system
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
- Managing accounts payable and reconciling credit card expenses
- Handling internal and external finance queries
- Monitoring bank accounts and authorising online payments
- Assisting with financial reporting, audits, and year-end accounts
- Booking travel arrangements as required
- Supporting finance projects and providing team cover
What Were Looking For
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong mathematical ability with great attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Personal Qualities:
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
- A team player who collaborates effectively
- Enthusiastic and adaptable to new challenges
Qualifications:
- Essential: Minimum GCSEs (including Maths and English)
- Desirable: A-levels or equivalent in business, economics, or related subjects
