A fantastic new apprentice opportunity has been created for an Aftersales Advisor to join our fast paced dealership in Lowestoft.
You will be the face of John Grose when greeting our customers who are booking their vehicles in for repairs. Ensuring at all times the Health and Safety of customers, employees and third parties is your top priority. In order to provide in-depth on-the-job learning, this Apprenticeship will offer the right candidate the opportunity to gain skills required in Customer Service through training with our Aftersales Advisors, and a deep knowledge of our vehicle processes with training with our Warranty and Parts teams. Meaning the successful candidate will gain a deep knowledge all aspects of Aftersales processes.
The duties that you will be taught will include:
- Ensuring the highest level of customer care and satisfaction is given at all times
- Building rapport and clearly translating any technical issues in a customer friendly way
- Ensuring customers are kept up to date with the progress of their vehicle repairs
- Keeping customer records accurately up to date on the system
- Processing payments
- Answering telephone queries
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
- Customer orientated
- Prides themselves on excellent communication skills
- Advising on additional sales
- Has a pro-active approach
- Excellent listening skills
- Holds a full clean driving licence

Working hours will be 40 per week for applicants under the age 18, over 18-year-olds will be required to work an average of 43.75 hours per week. Hours worked will be between Monday and Saturday as discussed with in the interview, working only 5 days a week over a 7 day period.
The apprenticeship will last a minimum of 15 months with the possibility of a permanent position, continued learning to include becoming a manufacturer qualified Service Advisor and salary reviews.
Salary:
Under 18yrs (40 hours per week) - £15,704 p.a.
18 yrs (43.75 hours per week) - £17,176.25 p.a.
19 yrs or over but within first year of apprenticeship (43.75 hours per week) - £17,176.25 p.a. rising to equivalent hourly minimum wage for age after one year.
All salaries are reviewed annually.
