We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Business Support Apprentice here at Public Sector Partnership Services!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team at the heart of our business support offering. If you are an aspiring business administrator or looking to take your first step into the world of business more generally, then this could be the role for you.
The main focus of the position is to provide administrative support to the Corporate Services Group as well as their management team and the Company’s SLT. You'll gain valuable skills and experience in a wide range of administrative duties, whilst being exposed to core business processes and procedures at the heart of PSPS, that will be transferable across most sectors. All whilst studying for a recognised qualification.
Typical duties are:
- Responsibility for the administration and monitoring of Corporate Services related tasks.
- Administration support to key systems. As well as support to users of our systems within other departments.
- Resilience cover for a number of corporate responsibilities, including; Communications, Executive support, Customer service, Inbox and diary management.
- Internal/ external event administration.
- Data cleansing and analysis.
- Diary management, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documentation support for projects and events.
- Support Corporate Management with administrative duties.
- Support SLT with administrative duties.
- Assist where required with the processing of financial paperwork including; Purchase Orders, invoices etc.
What training will you undertake and what qualification will you get at the end?
- Business Administrator Level 3 Standard
- Personal learning and thinking skills
GCSE level C/4 or above in English and Maths are essential. Previous experience of working in an office environment would be advantageous, as would an A- Level or equivalent education but isn’t essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a basic understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook are a must.
