We are seeking a motivated IT Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic IT Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop IT Support, Networking, and Systems Management skills in a fast-paced, unique environment. You’ll join our team as the IT Technician Apprentice, working alongside our IT Engineers, IT Administrator, and IT Manager to support Head Office and Production IT operations.
You’ll earn while you learn, taking a respectable apprentice’s salary of £10 an hour while you’re trained up to Level 3 Information Communication Technician grade, specialising as an Azure Cloud Support Specialist.
You will also have the opportunity to achieve your Microsoft MS-900 and AZ-900 certifications and be eligible for RITTech accreditation with BCS – providing you with all the skills you need to excel within the IT Industry. Additionally, you will be able to apply for your Certificate of Advanced Apprenticeship from the Association of Apprentices and the Chartered Institute for Further Education, showcasing the hard work you put in to achieve your apprenticeship.
Your normal week will involve working alongside our IT Engineers Monday to Wednesday, responding to support tickets, helping colleagues, and getting hands-on with a real, enterprise-grade network. You’ll then spend Thursday and Friday completing coursework, with the support of the IT Team around you.
After your apprenticeship finishes, you will be guaranteed a full-time role within the IT Team, taking on a full salary and specialising in Microsoft Azure operations, as well as participating in normal IT support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing first-line IT support to colleagues across the business
- Support the existing IT Engineers in carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
- Participate in ongoing and upcoming IT projects, including infrastructure improvements
- Learn to configure and manage key business systems
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Enthusiasm for IT and a willingness to learn

- Good people skills, with a proactive, friendly approach
- Must be 18 or over, as the role will involve working in our Production Facilities
- Prior study of IT/Computer Science at GCSE grade would be advantageous, but not required

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with one hour for lunch
