Offset Print & Packaging, proudly part of the Alzamora Group, is a well-established, retail packaging manufacturer based in Aylesford, Kent. Employing over 100 personnel in the design, administration and manufacturing departments. Offset works with global brands including Sony PlayStation, Fortnum & Mason and Graze, producing for homewares, cosmetics, food and beverage and home entertainment markets. We are accredited with internationally recognised manufacturing, environmental and quality certifications.
Due to continued business growth an opportunity has arisen for a Gluing Machine Minder Apprentice. The applicant must be willing to work on a rotational shift pattern which includes nights and complete a Level 2 or 3 Post Press Apprenticeship.
The role of this position
To be trained to use a machine to produce glued cartons of various complexity, styles and material types and thicknesses, up to and including corrugated, across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high degree of quality. These skills will be acquired by a combination of in house training and a government recognised apprenticeship. This will be facilitated by the print industry trade body, the BPIF.
